Betting Numbers Reveal Drake’s Loss of Over $35M This Year Due to Gambling

Drake, the Canadian rapper, also quite well known for his love of gambling, is believed to have little knack for it.

Several days ago, on X, Akademiks TV shared an image that showcased the amount Drake has bet on and lost this year.

The image shows the amount of money Drake has put into bets and lost at his favorite casino, which he has been sponsored by.

Drake used to run gambling streams on Kick, where he would gamble on Sngake.

The numbers reveal that Drake lost approximately $35 million this year alone.

Earlier this year, Drake revealed that he had lost $8 million in a single bet.

In the span of four weeks, he had made bets worth over $124 million.

Is the Curse Real

Drake recently made a losing bet of $300,000 on the US Open, where he bet on Carlos Alcaraz to beat Jannick Sinner.

Soon after, he made another losing bet with $250,000 on the Baltimore Ravens to beat the Buffalo Bills. 

The “Drake Curse” is synonymous with Drake’s sports bets.

People believe that whoever Drake places a bet on runs a higher risk of losing.

The so-called curse is usually the first thing people point their fingers at after Drake makes a losing bet.

A Falling Out

Despite the amount lost to bets, the stats display that he is only down $16 million for now.

Many of those who have seen the picture speculate that the reason for this is money from promos made by the casino.

A few years ago, the Financial Timesrevealed that the Sngake crypto casino was, at the time, giving Drake $100 million per year for endorsement.

The co-owner of Sngake crypto casino, Eddie Craven, also the owner of the streaming platform Kick, had a falling out with Drake.

Drake openly spoke out against Craven, claiming he had been speaking badly about his fans.

In another statement against Craven, Drake describes how, apparently, he wasn’t allowed to promote his own affiliates, which happens to be the main source of income from Kick.

Drake’s account on Kick no longer exists.
