Wynn Resorts has selected IGY Marinas, a global leader in premier marina destinations, and Marina Solutions International (MSI),as partners for the design, development, post-opening management, and marketing services of the Al Marjan Island Marinain Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.

Steve English, CEO of IGY Marinas, stated that the company’s involvement in the Wynn Al Marjan Island project marks a significant milestone for IGY Marinas. He expressed enthusiasm about expanding the company’s presence in marina management in the Middle East and contributing to the development of a world-class destination for yachting and gaming enthusiasts.

Wynn Al Marjan Island is set to become a premier integrated resort, offering 1,530 luxurious rooms and suitesalong with a wide range of entertainment and leisure facilities. As part of the development, IGY Marinas will operate a world-class marina designed to host both leisure vessels and superyachts, providing exceptional services to its guests. The new project can be seen as a crucial part of Wynn’s growing Middle East portfolio, which has already attracted new investors.

In addition, James Beaver, Director at Marina Solutions International, noted that the company has been closely involved with Wynn Resorts on the Al Marjan Island Marina project since 2022. From the outset, the company has provided a comprehensive feasibility study, defined the marina’s market positioning, and delivered both conceptual and detailed designs, along with operational consultancy. 

He also expressed satisfaction in supporting Wynn Resorts and assisting in the selection of IGY as a world-class operator. According to Beaver, the marina represents a significant opportunity for the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah to establish itself as a premier yachting destination. Beaver further said that anticipation for the marina’s continued development and long-term success will follow its launch.

More About the Colossal Project

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort of its kind in the United Arab Emirates. Scheduled to open in 2027, the resort will be located in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, just 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport. Developed by Wynn Resorts in collaboration with Marjanand RAK Hospitality Holding, the project aims to redefine luxury in the region.

The marina basin will include 101 berths, capable of accommodating yachts up to 85 meters (280 feet) in length, ensuring ideal mooring for superyachts and high-end vessels. Designed to meet the highest international standards, the marina will incorporate advanced berthing technology and premium marine services to meet the rising demand for ultra-luxury waterfront experiences. Complementing the marina, Wynn Al Marjan Island will also offer a range of upscale amenities, including multiple swimming and wading pools, water features, private cabanas, lush tropical landscaping, a five-star spa, and a luxury salon.

The marina will be a huge addition to Ras Al Khaimah, which, with its breathngaking coastline and cultural heritage, is fast becoming one of the UAE’s most popular tourism destinations.
